Born on May 11, 1960, Patrice Landry showed drawing skills in his early age. In his first years of school, he did his first experiments in cartoons and comic strips.

After studying in graphic arts, he worked in conception and advertising for 8 years. From animated shorts to technical drawing, as well as packaging design and ad campaigns, he has never stopped being interested in art. Yet, it is only in 2000 that he experimented with oils, acrylics and pastel.

Signature Member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (PSEC), he is also the PastelPost editor and a webmaster of numerous web sites.

As if painting and programming were not enough to keep him busy day and night, he is hosting writing and creative art workshops, and writes fantasy novels.In February 2007, he published his first novel 'Sauts d'âmes', (published in French by Éditions Minamots).

Furthermore, two of his short stories were published in the French literary magazine Biscuit Chinois, issue number 5 ('Pills'), published in October 2007, and issue number 6 ('Answering Machines'), published in February 2008.

Patrice Landry is now living in the Ste-Rose area, in Laval (Quebec), since 2006, after living in Boucherville for more than 40 years.
